Fair Trade Hellas is a Greek NGO, which for the first time in Greece promotes the philosophy of fair trade, a global alternative to the conventional market system.

The company was founded in Athens in the summer of 2004, and has the legal status of an Urban Non-Profit Corporation.

The objectives of the organization are:

• Promoting ethical and responsible consumption in Greece
• The provision in the Greek market of Fair Trade products through the operation of shops and associated outlets.
• On March 16th 2006, the first non-profit shop fair trade in Greece was launched, supported by the Italian NGO CTM.
